A project for Knowsley Green Fayre 2010
Schools throughout Knowsley used old plastic bags to make bunting-like decorations which would be illuminated by the sun and animated by the wind
Inspired by flowers and clothes, the aim of the project was to use found and recycled materials to explore the theme of Victorian fashion and style
This led to a final exhibition of artwork and further workshops at the Knowsley Green Fayre event at The National Wildflower Centre in June 2010.
Children used colourful reclaimed carrier bags to make creative clothing and flowers on a victorian theme, all of which added together to form a colourful creative tree. See the photo galleries for examples of the artwork made.
Whatever the Will of the Weather was a project designed, fundraised and organised by The Green Fuse team. We worked with the children from Malvern Primary School, St Pashal Baylon Catholic Primary School and the Court Hey Park Brownies Group
This project was funded by -
Knowsley Borough Council
Knowsley Housing trust
