Creative Recycling
Our method of using creativity to inform and educate is ideally suited to community arts workshops.
Our projects focus on making artistic objects that encourage an awareness of the environment and utilise basics of alternative technologies. During these workshops we aim to demonstrate how to use found materials as a means to be creative. We demonstrate how to recycle other peoples 'waste' into art and show how to use alternative power sources and the environmental agenda as theme to generate creativity

How to Make a Driftwood Windmill
The large wood-carved doll sculpture is an automata. It uses simple gearing and traditional wind-mill mechanics to animate the statue. The doll represents the wind, with her endless spinning and flailing arms, the gearing and the mechanics represent synthetic power and mankinds' control over natures forces.
The small sculptures use beach salvaged driftwood and plastic to make working wind-mill toys and objects for the workshop participants to make and take home
Spin & Wind was a touring project that encouraged creative learning of wind power technologies. It included the exhibition of interactive kinetic sculptures and workshops to make simple wind-mill themed sculptures and automatas.
The project included exhibiting the artworks alongside our D.I.Y windmill turbine workshops and information stands
The project toured various venues across the north-west of England throughout 2007.
